SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is alarmed regarding the higher number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis.
